According to the temporary supporting device, by arranging the two supporting rods which are inserted into the two ends of the supporting pipe in the mode that the insertion depth is adjustable, the supporting width of the supporting device can be adjusted according to the width of a foundation pit during construction, and the adjacent temporary supporting devices can be spliced through the arranged splicing plates so that the temporary supporting device can be matched with foundation pits of different lengths; when a foundation pit is excavated, the supporting device can be used for supporting the foundation pit while excavation is carried out, after construction is completed, the foundation pit can be backfilled and tamped, the supporting device is dismantled and recovered while backfilling is carried out, and the supporting device can be repeatedly used.
