A use method of geomembranes in reservoir bottom seepage prevention comprises the steps that 1 # TPO geomembranes are laid in a reservoir bottom filling area, HDPE geomembranes are laid in an excavation area, transition membranes are laid at drainage galleries, and then the geomembranes laid in all the areas are firmly pressed through sandbags; the transition membrane is connected with the 1 # TPO geomembrane and the HDPE geomembrane in a welded mode, then the sandbag is moved away, and the geomembranes in all the areas are covered with concrete or compacted with clay; wherein the transition membrane is formed by welding a 2 # TPO geomembrane and a novel geomembrane, one end, far away from the novel geomembrane, of the 2 # TPO geomembrane is connected with the 1 # TPO geomembrane, and one end, far away from the 2 # TPO geomembrane, of the novel geomembrane is connected with the HDPE geomembrane. Effective connection between two different types of geomembranes of HDPE and TPO is achieved, and concentrated leakage of a reservoir bottom membrane anti-seepage structure caused by the clamp effect is avoided.
