The anti-cracking gypsum-based self-leveling mortar is prepared from the following raw material components in parts by weight: 100 parts by mass of mixed cement, 200 to 350 parts by mass of alpha-high-strength gypsum, 260 to 300 parts by mass of steel slag sand, 140 parts by mass of steel slag powder, 1 to 3 parts by mass of a water reducing agent, 10 to 25 parts by mass of activated polyacrylonitrile fiber, 190 parts by mass of water and 0.5 to 1 part by mass of a de-foaming agent, the mixed cement is obtained by mixing Portland cement and aluminate cement according to the mass ratio of 1: (0.08-0.1); the activated polyacrylonitrile fibers are obtained by activating polyacrylonitrile fibers in a hydroxylamine hydrochloride solution; the particle size of the steel slag sand is 0.15 to 0.60 mm; and the particle size of the steel slag powder is 0.09-0.2 mm.
