The preparation method comprises the following steps: by taking nano zirconium oxide powder as a raw material, adding a coupling agent, mixing, stirring and drying to obtain modified zirconium oxide powder, carrying out injection molding to obtain a green body, degreasing, and carrying out high-low temperature composite two-stage sintering in air to obtain the high-strength injection-molded zirconium oxide ceramic. According to the invention, nano zirconia powder is modified by a coupling agent, a two-stage sintering process is cooperated and compounded, an injection molded blank is heated to a high temperature within a short time, zirconia ceramic is subjected to first-stage sintering and rapid densification, and then the sintering temperature is reduced to a low temperature for long-time sintering, so that the high-density zirconia ceramic is obtained. The abnormal growth of the crystal grains is inhibited, the microstructure uniformity of the material is kept, and the bending strength of the final ceramic body is improved.
