The invention discloses a self-adaptive cable bent tower steel anchor box and a construction method thereof, and relates to the technical field of bridge engineering, the self-adaptive cable bent tower steel anchor box comprises a box body defined by a side web, a force transmission plate assembly and an anchoring plate, a pair of steel anchor boxes are symmetrically arranged in the box body and connected with the anchoring plate through the force transmission plate assembly to form a steel anchor chamber, and the steel anchor chamber is connected with the box body. The anchoring plate is attached to the inner side face of the tower wall of the cable bent tower. The construction method comprises the following steps: 1) manufacturing and assembling the steel anchor chamber; (2) the steel anchor chamber is connected with the cable bent tower structure; (3) cable bent tower steel bars are constructed, and cable bent tower concrete is poured; and (4) steel inhaul cables are tensioned and anchored. The steel anchor chamber structure can adapt to different inclined angles of stay cables, section shapes of cable bent towers and section heights of the cable bent towers, so that a cable bent tower anchoring structure is tighter, more definite in stress and high in bearing capacity, and the construction method is high in precision and convenient to construct and has a good application prospect.
