The invention relates to a negative-rigidity self-resetting viscous damper which comprises a first end and a second end which are connected with different structural parts respectively. The self-resetting viscous mechanism is fixedly connected with the first end and comprises an outer cylinder, a first connector arranged in the outer cylinder, a main cylinder, an annular spring, a second connector, a first piston rod, a second piston rod and the like; the spiral spring fixing seat is mounted on the outer cylinder; and the spiral spring assembly is arranged on the spiral spring fixing seat. According to the damper, in the earthquake process, the piston reciprocates in the damping medium to dissipate earthquake kinetic energy, the annular spring dissipates energy through self friction, the cylindrical spiral spring provides negative stiffness effect, and the dynamic response of the structure is reduced.
