The invention discloses an assembly type building wall and an installation method thereof.The wall comprises two prefabricated wallboards and a corner bearing column, the two end faces of the corner bearing column abut against the side walls of the two prefabricated wallboards correspondingly, and the corner bearing column comprises an L-shaped column body and a rotary supporting column; the L-shaped column body and the rotary supporting column are fixedly arranged on a base, the rotary supporting column is fixedly embedded in the inner side of the L-shaped column body, a plurality of connecting rods are rotatably arranged on the rotary supporting column, and connecting grooves matched with the connecting rods are fixedly formed in the L-shaped column body and the prefabricated wall panel; the connecting rods are inserted into the connecting grooves in the prefabricated wallboards at the two ends at intervals, and self-locking mechanisms are further fixedly arranged among all the connecting rods on the same side; the multiple connecting rods and the rotary supporting columns are prefabricated to be rotationally connected, mortise and tenon connection is achieved, and disassembly is convenient; the self-locking mechanism enhances the integrity of the two, and reduces the stress concentration.
