The invention provides an L-shaped shear wall formwork for a modular building and a preparation method of the L-shaped shear wall formwork. The wall formwork comprises a first formwork shell and a second formwork shell which are oppositely arranged, and an internal steel bar set located between the two formwork shells. The internal reinforcing steel bar group comprises a first reinforcing steel bar mesh, a second reinforcing steel bar mesh, a first truss and a second truss; the first truss and the second truss extend in the height direction of the shear wall. The first end of the first truss is fixedly connected with the first reinforcing mesh and the first formwork, so that the first reinforcing mesh is flatly laid on the first formwork, and a first prefabricated assembly is formed; the first end of the second truss is fixedly connected with the second reinforcing mesh and the second formwork, so that the second reinforcing mesh is flatly laid on the second formwork, and a second prefabricated assembly is formed; and the second end of the first truss is fixedly connected with the second reinforcing mesh, and the first prefabricated assembly and the second prefabricated assembly are connected. The technical problems that a large number of steel bars need to be bound on site, and a formwork is only used as a formwork are solved.
