The invention provides a carbon-carbon crucible support and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of crucible supports. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out profiling needling by using a carbon fiber net tire and carbon fiber cloth to prepare a crucible support prefabricated body which has the same radian as a carbon-carbon crucible support product and has no edges and corners on the surface; spraying resin on the surface of the crucible support preform, and then carrying out heating and compression molding to obtain a crucible support green body; and sequentially carrying out densification treatment and high-temperature treatment on the crucible holder blank, and then machining to obtain the carbon-carbon crucible holder product. The carbon-carbon crucible support provided by the invention is uniform in product density, stable in performance and low in cutting rate.
