The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, and particularly discloses a portable adjustable wall opening protection device which is used for sealing and protecting a wall opening and comprises a sealing plate, transverse abutting pieces arranged on the sealing plate and symmetrically arranged in the Y-axis direction, and vertical abutting pieces arranged on the sealing plate. The vertical abutting piece and the transverse abutting piece are in sliding fit with the closing plate. Through cooperative use of the transverse abutting piece and the vertical abutting piece, the whole device can be firmly attached to the edge of a hole, and closed protection of the wall hole is achieved; through sliding fit of the transverse abutting piece, the vertical abutting piece and the closing plate, adjustment can be conducted according to the actual size of a wall hole, operation is easy, and the construction complexity is reduced; the limiting plates are arranged at the ends of the vertical abutting rods, so that the situation that the whole protection device falls into the hole due to external force damage is effectively prevented; compared with the prior art, the wall cannot be damaged, and the later maintenance cost is reduced.
