The ecological and environment-friendly forage grass planting and crop rotation method comprises the steps that gramineous forage grass is planted in spring of the first year, and leguminous forage grass is planted after the gramineous forage grass is harvested in summer of the first year; planting compositae forage grass around the leguminous forage grass in spring of the second year, and harvesting the leguminous forage grass and the compositae forage grass in autumn of the second year; in the crop rotation process, forage grass is cut in good time, biopesticide is adopted for disinsection, and during the growth period of the forage grass, organic fertilizer and microbial fertilizer are supplemented according to the soil fertility monitoring condition; a drip irrigation technology is adopted for irrigation, the irrigation amount is accurately controlled according to the growth requirements of the forage grass and the soil humidity condition, and rainwater is collected for irrigation; after the forage grass is harvested, the remaining stubbles, stems and leaves are used as green manure to be ploughed into soil. According to the method, different types of forage grass crops are selected for crop rotation, the diversified requirements of different bred animals for forage grass varieties and nutritional ingredients can be met, and the production benefits of animal husbandry are improved.
