The invention provides a light curtain wall structure and a mounting method thereof, and relates to the technical field of curtain walls. The light curtain wall structure comprises a bearing piece, a first hanging piece, a second hanging piece, a first wall plate and a second wall plate. The bearing piece comprises a main body part, a first bearing part and a second bearing part, the main body part is connected to the wall, the first bearing part is connected to the lower portion of the main body part, and the second bearing part is connected to the upper portion of the main body part. The first hanging piece is connected to the first bearing part in a hung mode, the first wall plate is connected to the first hanging piece, the second hanging piece is connected to the second bearing part in a hung mode, and the second wall plate is connected to the second hanging piece. According to the light curtain wall structure, due to the fact that the bearing piece is provided with the first bearing part and the second bearing part and is connected with the wall body through the connecting part, two adjacent wallboards in the vertical direction can share one bearing piece, the using number of the bearing pieces is reduced, the installation time is shortened, the labor intensity of constructors is relieved, and the construction efficiency is improved. Therefore, the installation efficiency of the light curtain wall structure is improved.
