The invention provides an automatic lifting membrane system for a venue building. The automatic lifting membrane system comprises a membrane system body, a membrane supporting mechanism, a load sensing assembly, a lifting device and a water flow collecting mechanism. The lifting devices are symmetrically arranged at two ends of the membrane system; the lifting end of the lifting device is connected with the membrane system through the membrane supporting mechanism; the water flow collecting mechanism is arranged at the top of the membrane supporting mechanism; the water flow collecting mechanism is connected with two ends of the membrane system for collecting rainwater; the load sensing assembly is arranged in a seam of the membrane system; the load sensing assembly is used for monitoring the load change of the membrane system and sending a control signal to the lifting device; the lifting device drives the membrane system to do lifting motion after receiving the control signal; outdoor weather changes are sensed through the load sensing assembly, so that the lifting device is controlled to achieve the automatic lifting function of the membrane structure, and the roof can be opened and closed in time; meanwhile, rainwater on the membrane structure is prevented from flowing back into a room through the water flow collecting system.
