The invention discloses a form switching construction method for a large-span dome jig frame, which relates to the field of steel structure engineering building construction and comprises the following steps: data confirmation: determining jig frame use requirements; measuring and setting out, and positioning the span radius and elevation of the jig frame; performing form switching construction on the dome assembling jig frame, namely releasing constraint at the upper end of a beam string structure, hoisting the beam string structure, and lowering the beam string structure to a bracket of a central inner cylinder; the height of the center inner cylinder is adjusted to reach the specified elevation; releasing constraint at two ends of the beam string structure, connecting the upper end of the beam string structure with the upper triangle of the central inner cylinder, and putting the lower end on a temporary scaffold; after all beam string structures are adjusted section by section, the whole circle of lower triangles are moved to the located jig frame span radius position; and connecting the lower end of the beam string structure through a traction device, so that the lower end of the beam string structure is connected with the lower triangle until the construction of all residual beam string structures is completed. Therefore, the purposes that the jig frame is suitable for large-span construction engineering, the jig frame mounting procedure is shortened, and the mounting precision is guaranteed are achieved.
