The invention discloses an anti-skid ceramic particle pavement material and a preparation method thereof in the technical field of ceramics. The anti-skid ceramic particle pavement material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 8-10mm < 3 > of a ceramic particle blank, 0.5-0.7 mm of a microcrystal ground glaze layer and 0.08-0.15 mm of a hydrophobic wear-resistant glaze layer. The invention provides an antiskid ceramic particle pavement material and a preparation method thereof, in order to solve the problems of poor skid resistance and poor wear resistance of ceramic particles, a hydrophobic wear-resistant glaze layer is formed on the surfaces of the ceramic particles in a manner of modifying titanium diboride, and meanwhile, a microcrystal ground coat layer is prepared from zinc oxide and iron oxide; the technical effect of improving the skid resistance and the wear resistance of the ceramic particles is achieved.
