The invention provides a steel-concrete composite beam bridge construction method which comprises the following steps that (1) permanent supports are arranged on the tops of piers on the two end sides of a steel-concrete composite beam bridge, and a permanent support and a temporary support are arranged on the top of a pier in the middle of the steel-concrete composite beam bridge; (2) steel beams are correspondingly erected on the permanent supports and the temporary supports; (3) correspondingly paving the concrete bridge deck on the top of the steel beam, and reserving an operation area at the corresponding position of the top of the middle pier; (4) cutting off the steel beam in the operation area; (5) the cut steel beams are sequentially connected, and the adjacent concrete bridge deck slabs are sequentially connected; (6) dismantling the temporary support; and (7) pavement construction is conducted on the concrete bridge deck, and guardrails are installed. According to the steel-concrete composite beam bridge construction method provided by the invention, the concrete bridge deck slab can be prevented from cracking, and the steel consumption and the welding difficulty of the steel beams are reduced.
