The embodiment of the invention provides a nested steel pipe pile and a construction method for the nested steel pipe pile. The nested steel pipe pile comprises a steel pipe pile body, a clamping groove structure is fixed to the inner wall of the steel pipe pile body, the inner diameter of the steel pipe pile body is larger than the outer diameter of an old steel pipe pile, and the clamping groove structure is used for being clamped to a main lifting lug of the old steel pipe pile. The method comprises the steps that a first steel pipe pile is annularly cut; a pile stabilizing platform is built around the first steel pipe piles; positioning, feeding and piling the second steel pipe pile according to the piling mother ship and the pile stabilizing platform until the clamping groove structure on the inner wall of the second steel pipe pile is clamped on the main lifting lug of the first steel pipe pile; wherein the second steel pipe pile is the nested steel pipe pile. The nested steel pipe pile can be connected to the outer layer of the old steel pipe pile in a sleeving mode, and the problem that the old steel pipe pile is difficult to renovate or replace is solved.
