The invention relates to a steel pipe pile sinking positioning frame and a positioning method thereof. The steel pipe pile sinking positioning frame comprises a frame body, a positioning assembly, a deviation rectifying assembly, a detecting assembly and a leveling assembly. The leveling assembly used for leveling the frame body is arranged at the bottom of the frame body. A pile sinking space is formed in the frame body; the positioning assembly comprises a positioning sleeve, a positioning rod, a locking wire, an ejector rod, a spring and an ejector wheel. The deviation rectifying assembly comprises clamping sleeves, a deviation rectifying base, an upper adjusting rod and a lower adjusting rod, the ends of the upper adjusting rod and the lower adjusting rod are hinged to the two opposite side faces of the frame body, the clamping sleeves are arranged on the deviation rectifying base, and the clamping sleeves on the two sides are combined to form an adjustable clamping structure capable of abutting against the steel pipe pile from the two sides; the detection assembly comprises a fixed seat, a ball seat, a ball body, a detection rod and a distance measuring sensor. The structure of the positioning frame is transformed, and the leveling, positioning, detecting and deviation rectifying assemblies are arranged on the positioning frame, so that accurate positioning and flexible deviation rectifying of the steel pipe pile are achieved, and posture adjusting operation of the steel pipe pile is simplified.
