The invention relates to the technical field of building shock insulation, in particular to a friction pendulum support with an adjustable friction coefficient. The friction bearing comprises an upper seat plate, a lower seat plate, a spherical crown body, a first friction surface, a second friction surface, a first friction material, a second friction material, a spring, a pressing gasket and a locking nut. The first friction material is mounted in the counter bores of the upper and lower seat plates, the second friction material is mounted in the through holes of the upper and lower seat plates, one end of the spring is mounted on the back of the second friction material, the other end of the spring is in contact with the compression gasket, and the compression gasket is screwed and fixed through internal threads at the ends of the through holes of the upper and lower seat plates. The friction pendulum support can adjust the tightness degree of the spring by controlling the screwing-in depth of the pressing gasket, and then the extrusion force between the second friction material and the friction surface is adjusted. And finally, the overall friction coefficient of the friction pendulum support is adjusted according to different extrusion force distribution proportions of the first friction material and the second friction material to the friction surface.
