A follow-up spreading mechanism facilitating manual installation of the protective net is arranged on one side of the base. The steel wire rope net is spliced in advance and wound on the second mounting rod before leaving a factory or being transported, in the mounting process, the first mounting rod only needs to be fixed to the steel column, then the U-shaped frame is pushed to unfold the steel wire rope net, and finally the second mounting rod is fixed to the steel column on the other side, so that spreading of one protective net can be completed; therefore, simple and efficient installation of a single operator is achieved, a plurality of installation personnel do not need to climb to a high place to splice the steel wire rope nets one by one, and the risk of outdoor high-place installation operation of the personnel is reduced.
