The invention discloses a device and a method for monitoring springback deformation in the whole excavation process of a foundation pit. The device comprises a monitoring mechanism for layered springback above the bottom of the foundation pit and a monitoring mechanism for layered springback below the bottom of the foundation pit, the method comprises the following steps: 1, mounting the springback deformation monitoring device in the whole excavation process of the foundation pit; 2, measuring the initial reference elevation value of the rebound mark and the initial reference elevation value of the magnetic ring; and thirdly, layered excavation is conducted, and rebound deformation is monitored after each layer is excavated. The springback deformation of the soil layer below and above the bottom of the foundation pit can be monitored at the same time, whole-process springback deformation of the soil body in the excavation process of the foundation pit is achieved, the integrity of monitoring data can be effectively improved, the monitoring precision is improved, the springback condition of foundation pit layering is accurately measured, and a powerful guarantee is provided for engineering safety; and the magnetic ring measuring rod component can be recycled, so that the layered springback monitoring cost is reduced, the measurement accuracy is high, and the method is suitable for various geological conditions.
