The invention discloses a modular building construction scaffold and a mounting method thereof. The modular building construction scaffold comprises a plurality of folding unit frames which are connected with one another and scaffold boards used in cooperation with the folding unit frames. Each folding unit frame comprises a shaft rotating seat, two connecting rod pieces, a transverse connecting assembly and a joint reinforcing fixing piece, the shaft rotating seat is of a cubic structure, the two connecting rod pieces are movably connected with the two perpendicular faces of the shaft rotating seat respectively, and fixing connecting seats matched with the connecting rod pieces are arranged on the two faces, opposite to the connecting faces of the connecting rod pieces, of the shaft rotating seat. The other face of the shaft rotating base is fixedly connected with the transverse connecting assembly, and the transverse connecting assembly is perpendicular to the contact face. A plurality of folding unit frames are connected with each other to form a frame structure, the frame structure takes the shaft rotating seats as connecting nodes, and two connecting rod pieces which are connected with the same shaft rotating seat and are perpendicular to each other are connected through node reinforcing fixing pieces. According to the scaffold, the folding unit frames serve as single bodies, the structural design is reasonable, operation is easy and convenient, the storage size is small, and the construction efficiency is high.
