The invention discloses a hydration heat inhibiting material. The hydration heat inhibiting material is specifically prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 90 to 110 parts of water, 5 to 20 parts of an oil-phase cosolvent, 0.1 to 0.7 part of a solubilizer, 20 to 100 parts of a colloid emulsifier and 0.5 to 15 parts of an oil-phase component, the oil phase component is prepared from acid anhydride, dihydric alcohol, a polymerization inhibitor and a catalyst according to a molar ratio of (0.5 to 3): (0.7 to 1.3): (0.01 to 0.15): (0.15 to 0.75). The prepared hydration heat inhibiting material has good stability, the hydration heat release rate peak value, the hydration heat accumulation heat release amount and the adiabatic temperature rise peak value of the hydration heat inhibiting material in the application process are all greatly reduced, and the strength reduction value is small.
