A sandbag grid sand barrier construction method comprises the steps that a non-woven fabric material with certain strength is selected to be made into sandbags; in the area with the square sand barriers, site construction is carried out, local natural accumulated sand is dug to fill the sandbags, and then the sandbags are tied; the sandbag is soaked and wrapped in cement paste, so that the cement paste fully infiltrates the sandbag and permeates into the sandbag by a certain depth, and the cement paste and sand grains in the sandbag are condensed into a whole; after being coated with slurry, the sandbag rolls on the surface of the sand, so that the surface of the sandbag is covered with natural gravels; and the sandbags are stacked into checks according to requirements. The sand bags are filled with the local accumulated sand to manufacture the sand barrier; the sandbag is coated with sand by non-woven fabric, so that the purposes of low cost and durability improvement are achieved.
