The invention discloses a multifunctional water supply system. The system comprises a circulating water forebay, a first circulating water flow channel and a second circulating water flow channel, the first circulating water flow channel and the second circulating water flow channel are arranged on the circulating water forebay, a first movable type flow channel drainage pump and a second movable type flow channel drainage pump are arranged in the first circulating water flow channel and the second circulating water flow channel respectively, and a second pipeline is arranged between the first circulating water flow channel and the second circulating water flow channel. A first gate valve and a second gate valve are arranged at the two ends of the second pipeline respectively, a water outlet of the first movable flow channel drainage pump is used for being communicated with a first gate valve drainage port, and a water outlet of the second movable flow channel drainage pump is used for being communicated with a second gate valve drainage port. When the circulating water pump is overhauled, water in the flow channel can be pumped to the adjacent flow channel for use only through cooperation of one pipeline and the corresponding movable flow channel drainage pump, waste of water resources is avoided, and the equipment investment cost is reduced.
