The invention provides a double-amplitude cast-in-place box girder formwork which comprises a main girder system, a plurality of suspension systems and an inner side outer formwork system, the main girder system comprises two groups of main girders and transverse connecting pieces, each suspension system comprises a cross beam, a suspended beam connecting arm and a suspended beam, one end of the suspended beam connecting arm is fixedly connected with one end of the cross beam, and the other end of the suspended beam connecting arm is fixedly connected with the other end of the cross beam. The suspended beam is located below the main beam system, and one end of the suspended beam is hinged to the other end of the suspended beam connecting arm. The inner side outer formwork system is arranged below the main beam system in the length direction of the main beam system, and the other end of the suspended beam is detachably connected with the inner side outer formwork system. The invention further provides a construction method adopting the double-amplitude cast-in-place box girder formwork. The problem that in the prior art, a post-construction box girder formwork in a double-amplitude cast-in-place box girder cannot be built through a movable formwork is solved, the construction cost is saved, and the construction efficiency is improved.
