Beschreiben wird Armatur (10), insbesondere für ein Küchen- oder Badmöbel (40), mit einem im montierten Zustand der Armatur (10) im Wesentlichen senkrecht von einer Montagefläche (30) aufragenden Grundkörper (11) und mit einer an der Armatur (10) angeordneten Betätigungsvorrichtung für einen Ablauf, welche Betätigungsvorrichtung mit einem Kraftübertragungsmittel (13) zusammenwirkt, mit welchem ein Ablaufstopfen (20) bedienbar ist, und welche Betätigungsvorrichtung ein Handhabungselement (13) umfasst, das relativ zu der restlichen Armatur (10) bewegbar, vorzugsweise drehbar oder schwenkbar, an der Armatur (10) angeordnet ist. Die Armatur (10) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass das Handhabungselement (13) um eine zu einer Längsachse (L) des Grundköpers (11) im Wesentlichen senkrechte Betätigungsachse bewegbar ist, vorzugsweise drehbar oder schwenkbar, um auf das Kraftübertragungsmittel (15) mechanisch einzuwirken.
A fitting (10), in particular for a piece of kitchen or bathroom furniture (40), having a main body (11) which in the assembled state of the fitting (10) protrudes substantially perpendicularly from an assembly face (30), and having an activation device for a drain, which activation device is disposed on the fitting (10) and interacts with a force-transmission element (13) by which a drain plug (20) is able to be operated, and which activation device includes a handling element (13) which is disposed on the fitting (10) so as to be movable, preferably rotatable or pivotable, relative to the rest of the fitting (10). The fitting (10) is distinguished in that the handling element (13) is movable, preferably rotatable or pivotable, about an activation axis which is substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (L) of the main body (11), so as to mechanically act on the force-transmission element (15).
