Eine Vorrichtung zum Öffnen und Schließen, die ein Handschuhfach öffnet und schließt, weist auf: ein Gehäuse (100) auf, das mit dem Handschuhfach gekuppelt ist, einen Griff (200), der drehbar an dem Gehäuse (100) angebracht ist, eine Verriegelungseinheit, die so angebracht ist, dass sie in Freigaberichtung des Handschuhfachs von dem Armaturenbrett eines Fahrzeugs bewegbar ist, eine Verbindungsstange (500), die eingerichtet ist, um den Griff (200) und die Verriegelungseinheit miteinander zu verbinden und sich in einer Hochrichtung der Verriegelungseinheit zu bewegen, wenn ein Nutzer den Griff (200) dreht, und ein elastisches Element (600), das eingerichtet ist, um eine Kraft auf die Verriegelungseinheit auszuüben, so dass die Verriegelungseinheit mit Eingriffsteilen des Armaturenbretts in Eingriff gebracht wird, und die Verriegelungseinheit in einer Längsrichtung der Verriegelungseinheit in einem Zustand der Verriegelung mit der Verbindungsstange (500) bewegbar ist, so dass die Verriegelungseinheit von den Eingriffsteilen des Armaturenbretts gelöst wird.
