Die Vorrichtung dient zur Begrenzung eines Hohlraumes im Erdreich und weist Seitenwände sowie eine obere Abdeckung auf. Mindestens eine der Seitenwände ist aus mindestens zwei Wandmodulen ausgebildet. Die Wandmodule sind zusammensteckbar und mindestens eines der Wandmodule besteht mindestens bereichsweise aus Kunststoff. Im Bereich mindestens eines der Wandmodule ist ein Spannelement angeordnet.

The first longitudinal wall portion may include a tensioning portion structurally configured to counteract a deformation force acting on an exterior side portion of the first longitudinal wall in a direction toward an interior of the frame portion so as to enhance load-bearing capacity of the first longitudinal wall portion.
