Ein Bagger (100) umfasst einen unteren Fahrkörper (1), einen oberen Drehkörper (3), der drehbar an dem unteren Fahrkörper (1) montiert ist, Fahrhydraulikmotoren (2M) als Fahraktuatoren zum Antreiben des unteren Fahrkörpers (1) und eine Steuerung (30) als eine Steuervorrichtung, die in dem oberen Drehkörper (3) vorgesehen ist. Die Steuerung (30) ist konfiguriert, eine vordere und hintere Fahrtrichtung entsprechend einer Richtung des oberen Drehkörpers (3) zu bestimmen und Fahrsteuerung durchzuführen, so dass die Rückseite des oberen Drehkörpers (3) in der Fahrtrichtung vorwärts positioniert ist.
