Umgebungsüberwachungssystem für eine Arbeitsmaschine umfasst: eine Objektdetektionsvorrichtung, die ein Objekt um die Arbeitsmaschine, die eine Kabine enthält, detektiert; eine Außenalarmvorrichtung, die außerhalb der Kabine angeordnet ist; eine Bedieneralarmvorrichtung, die innerhalb der Kabine angeordnet ist; und einen Prozessor. Der Prozessor stellt auf der Grundlage von Eingabedaten zum Einstellen eines Steuermodus der Arbeitsmaschine von einer Eingabevorrichtung einen Steuermodus zum Steuern eines Betriebs der Arbeitsmaschine zu einem Zeitpunkt, zu dem das Objekt detektiert wird, entweder auf einen aktivierten Modus, in dem zumindest ein Teil des Betriebs der Arbeitsmaschine eingeschränkt ist, oder auf einen deaktivierten Modus, in dem der Betrieb der Arbeitsmaschine nicht eingeschränkt ist, ein. Der Prozessor aktiviert oder deaktiviert die Bedieneralarmvorrichtung auf der Grundlage des eingestellten Steuermodus.
A surroundings monitoring system for a work machine includes: an object detection device that detects an object around the work machine including a cab; an external alarm device disposed outside the cab; an operator alarm device disposed inside the cab; and a processor. The processor sets, on the basis of input data for setting a control mode of the work machine from an input device, a control mode for controlling an operation of the work machine at a time when the object is detected to either an enabled mode in which at least a part of the operation of the work machine is restricted or a disabled mode in which the operation of the work machine is not restricted. The processor enables or disables the operator alarm device on the basis of the control mode that has been set.
