The invention relates to an extruded profile (4, 5) for the refrigeration industry, comprising an outer wall that is divided into two sections by two slots (37, 38), wherein a first slot (37) delimits an undercut first groove (21), the second slot (38) delimits a second groove (24), and a side wall (36) of the second groove (24) adjacent to the first groove (21) is aligned parallel to a wall section (35) of the first groove (21) adjacent to the first slot (37). If the side wall (36) forms a base surface for a support plate (3) for a shelf introduced in the second groove (24), the wall section (35) parallel thereto can be used as base surface for a built-in part suspended from the shelf.
