    The device (1) has a rotation mechanism (6) for tilting lamellas, and a stopper flange for fixing an angle end position for the lamellas. An actuating element (15) is connected with the rotation mechanism by a play mechanism for locking the lamellas in an operating position during lowering a jalousie. Winding coils (5, 5'), a rotation mechanism (6), a stopper flange (11), the actuating element and a play mechanism (12) are arranged in common bearing housings (4, 4'). The actuating element is provided with a base element. An independent claim is also included for a method for swiveling lamellas of a shutter.
