The handle (2) has a body (4) forming a gripping part and comprising a cavity, and a closure (42) for closing the cavity. A trim piece (22) e.g. chrome-plated piece, is extended against an outer face (24) of the body and retained by the closure from the cavity. The closure has an arm extending into the cavity along a longitudinal direction of the cavity. The closure and the trim piece have ramp faces inclined with respect to a longitudinal direction (6) of the trim piece. The trim piece comprises a finger whose end is extended into a slot of the closure. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a handle of an opening frame of a vehicle.
