The present invention relates to a moulding for fixing to a laminate flooring. The moulding is manufactured for this purpose from an elastically deformable material. The invention also relates to a method for fixing the moulding to a laminate flooring. The method comprises inter alia of fixing the moulding to the laminate flooring from a first corner in the direction of a second corner, wherein the moulding is pressed manually in steps against a wall in a deforming manner and is then fixed to the laminate flooring.
