Coating system comprises (a) a coating composition comprising a migratable agent and (b) a coating composition comprising an activator for releasing the migratable agent present in the coating composition (a) such that the activator present in the coating composition (b) releases the migratable agent present in the coating composition (a) after the application of the coating system. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a thermal insulation composite system for thermal insulation of buildings, comprising the above coating system, where the coating composition (a) is applied on a carrier, preferably a heat-insulating plate or on an armor, e.g. in the form of fibers or a woven fabric; (2) the heat-insulating plate for the above thermal insulation composite system, comprising at least one surface area for receiving the coating composition (b), which is coated with the coating composition (a) containing the migratable agent, and is releasable over the activator contained in the coating composition (b); (3) the armor for the above coating system, where the armor is coated e.g. in the form of fibers or woven fabric with the coating composition (a), which is releasable over the activator; and (4) forming a functional layer, preferably a plaster, adhesive, paint and/or a protection layer using the above mentioned coating system, comprising applying the coating composition (a) on a substrate or the carrier, preferably the heat-insulating plate or the armor e.g. in the form of fibers or woven fabric, and contacting the substrate or the carrier with the coating composition (b).
