The actuator (1) has drive mechanism for rotationally driving the output shaft (8) in first direction of rotation. The output shaft is extended perpendicular to a longitudinal extension of actuator. The output shaft has a terminal portion at one end, which is designed to be operatively connected with rotation vane. The bearing (14), cam disc (62) and spacers (67,70) are arranged on output shaft in a state movable translationally along its axis of rotation. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for mounting rotary wing actuator; and (2) apparatus for mounting rotary wing actuator.
