The invention relates to a structure for attaching wall cladding, the wall cladding being intended to clad a supporting wall (1) and comprising sheets (2) of cladding, the attaching structure comprising two horizontal section pieces (3, 4), one of them, a lower one (3), fixed to the ground (5) and the other, an upper one (4), fixed to the ceiling, the structure being characterized in that support blocks (8A) are attached to the supporting wall (1), said support blocks (8A) being intended for the attachment of sheets (2) of cladding, at least one support block (8A) being positioned in line with the site of each join between two adjacent sheets (2) of cladding.
