The device has a mechanical transmission assembly (27) comprising an input shaft (31) to which a motor (26) is coupled. Cylindrical output pinions (41, 41') are integrally mounted on an output shaft (40) of the assembly. Pinions (49) are integrally mounted with a wheel (13) and arranged on both sides of the wheel, where each pinion is adapted to be rotated by the respective output pinion. The assembly has a housing (28), and the output pinions are extended outside of the housing. The assembly has cylindrical intermediate pinions (42, 42') meshed with the pinions. An independent claim is also included for a movable structure e.g. shelter structure, for a swimming pool.
