PROCEDE DE COMPACTAGE EN SURFACE
Surface-compacting method, in which: a compacting tool (1) is rotated about an axis parallel to a surface to be compacted, said compacting tool including a leading portion (3) having side surfaces and a lower surface and an upper surface (5) meeting at a leading edge (6), the lower surface extending rearward via a convex sole plate (4); and the compacting tool (1) is also translatably moved in a direction parallel to the surface to be compacted, said compacting tool (1) being oriented and adjusted such that, during the rotating movement, the leading portion (3) slides over the surface to be compacted or penetrates through the surface thereof, the sole plate (4) then sliding over the surface while bearing against same, such that the surface is compacted.
