The device (10) has an anchoring clamp (12) mounted on a head (30) of a rail (16) and comprising an anchoring point (18) for a user. A set of guiding rollers (22) is associated with the clamp to allow displacement of the clamp along the rail or beam. The rollers are a part of a rolling carriage (14) with variable geometry that adapts position of the rollers to different types of rails or beams. The carriage is fixed to the anchoring clamp in a removable manner. An adjustment unit adjusts position of the rollers independent of the clamp. An independent claim is also included for a mobile anchoring kit for a rail and a beam.
