CERAMIC FILTER
A ceramic filter includes a porous ceramic body (1) which is a sintered body of ceramic particles (1a), and a coating portion (2) formed on a surface of each ceramic particle to support the catalyst. The porous ceramic body (1) has a specific surface area equal to or greater than 0.5 m 2 /cc, measured by a mercury porosimeter, and an amount of the coating portion (2) is equal to or greater than 15g/l.
