METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MULTIPLE-PANE GLASS
A production method includes: a process of setting a desired temperature of a furnace to a temperature causing melting of a hermetically-bonding member (4) to thereby hermetically bond peripheries of paired glass panels (2, 3) disposed facing each other at a predetermined distance to form a space (A); a process of evacuating air from the space (A) while keeping the desired temperature of the furnace lower than the temperature causing melting of the hermetically-bonding member (4); and a process of setting the desired temperature of the furnace to a temperature causing melting of a region forming member (5) inside the space (A) to thereby divide the space (A) by the region forming member (5) into an outlet region (B) and a reduced-pressure region (C). The hermetically-bonding member (4) and the region forming member (5) are made by use of the same low-melting glass frit.
