Manhole cover
To improve the reliability and practicability of manholes, there is described a level adjusting device (10, 100, 200) for a removable or liftable cover (C) of a manhole (MH). It comprises a stand-alone base body (20; 120; 220), adapted to be placed under the cover and having a thread, and a counter-threaded element (40; 140; 240) that is adapted to support the cover and is couplable by screwing on the thread of the body to translate along an axis (X) and protrude in an adjustable manner from the body. The device allows an independent adjustment for each support point.
