VESSEL FOR TRANSPORTING AND INSTALLING A FLOATING PLATFORM AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING AND INSTALLING SUCH A PLATFORM
The invention can be used to simplify the installation of floating platforms comprising an elongate central body (1) having feet (2) extending from the lower portion thereof, said feet being intended to secure the platform to anchors disposed on the seabed (5). The vessel comprises: a) a longitudinal through-channel (4) that extends through the base of the vessel, leaving part of the bow (5) of the vessel open; and b) a plurality of recesses (6, 7) located on the base of the vessel, the shape and dimensions of the groove (4) and recesses (6, 7) being configured such that they engage with at least one of the feet (2). In this way, the feet (2) can be inserted at least partially into the recesses (6, 7) in order to attach the platform to the vessel.
