The invention relates to a protective door unit that comprises a protective door (12) arranged to be opened and closed and means (16, 17) for attaching the protective door unit temporarily to an existing structure (19). The protective door unit is characterised in that it also comprises at least one technical terminal area (14) for conveying energy and matter through the protective door unit while the protective door is closed.
