A pool cleaner (100) for cleaning a pool, the pool cleaner (100) comprises: a body chamber (120), having:an intake end and a discharge end (1702); a pump (202) for drawing fluid from the intake end and expelling the fluid through the discharge end, the pump (202) having an intake side and a discharge side; a cage (204) surrounding the pump (202); a filter bag (306) for filtering out fine particles, the filter bag (306) being placed within a mesh structure (206) so that the filter bag (306) lines the interior of the mesh structure (206) and the ends of the filter bag (306) cover the exterior of the mesh structure (206); a mesh filter (702) for filtering out large debris being placed on a first side of the filter bag (306), and the cage (204) being located on another side of the filter bag (306), the mesh filter (702) blocking the intake end of the body chamber (120); wherein the cage (204) containing the pump (202) fits within the filter bag (306); and wherein the pump (202) is located at the discharge end (1702) of the body chamber (120); a dirt tray (126) for catching large debris, having an intake end (2202) and a discharge end, the intake end (2202) and the discharge end both having an opening, the discharge end of the dirt tray (126) being connected to the intake end of the body chamber (120); a vacuum head (136), having an intake opening for drawing in fluid, a channel leading from the intake opening to an opening at the intake end (2202) of the dirt tray (126); and a power cord (410) for providing power to the pump (202), the power cord (410) being electrically connected to the pump (202) by an electrical cord.

A pool cleaner (100) for cleaning a pool, the pool cleaner (100) comprises: a body chamber (120), having:an intake end and a discharge end (1702); a pump (202) for drawing fluid from the intake end and expelling the fluid through the discharge end, the pump (202) having an intake side and a discharge side; a cage (204) surrounding the pump (202); a filter bag (306) for filtering out fine particles, the filter bag (306) being placed within a mesh structure (206) so that the filter bag (306) lines the interior of the mesh structure (206) and the ends of the filter bag (306) cover the exterior of the mesh structure (206); a mesh filter (702) for filtering out large debris being placed on a first side of the filter bag (306), and the cage (204) being located on another side of the filter bag (306), the mesh filter (702) blocking the intake end of the body chamber (120); wherein the cage (204) containing the pump (202) fits within the filter bag (306); and wherein the pump (202) is located at the discharge end (1702) of the body chamber (120); a dirt tray (126) for catching large debris, having an intake end (2202) and a discharge end, the intake end (2202) and the discharge end both having an opening, the discharge end of the dirt tray (126) being connected to the intake end of the body chamber (120); a vacuum head (136), having an intake opening for drawing in fluid, a channel leading from the intake opening to an opening at the intake end (2202) of the dirt tray (126); and a power cord (410) for providing power to the pump (202), the power cord (410) being electrically connected to the pump (202) by an electrical cord.
