The invention relates to a frame for an underwater generator (1), comprising: a support (2) for at least one underwater generator, at least partially made of concrete; and a ballast assembly (3) configured so as to cooperate with the support (2) in such a way as to ensure that the underwater generator (1) frame is kept on the underwater floor, said ballast assembly (3) having a density of between 6500 kg/m3 and 8000 kg/m3.
