A noise suppression apparatus (2) for suppressing noise during driving of a support pile (6) of an offshore structure into the seabed is disclosed. The noise suppression apparatus comprises first vibration damping members (12) adapted to be mounted to the support pile and to attenuate transmission of vibrations generated in the support pile, as a result of hammering of the support pile into the seabed, through water adjacent the support pile.
