The invention relates to an explosion-proof and bullet-proof wall construction(10), comprising: - a first barrier (12A) and a second barrier(12B), - a plurality of barrier connections (16) between the first and second barrier in the form of vertical frames (15), wherein each vertical frame comprises a first post (14A), which is associated with the first barrier, and comprises a second post (14B), which is associated with the second barrier, and wherein each vertical frame further comprises connections (39) between the first and second post, - an innermost zone (18), which is located between the first and second barrier, wherein at least one barrier comprises a plurality of protective slats (20), wherein the protective slats are directed obliquely upwards, extending from outside to inside, in order to absorb a shock wave of an incoming explosion or an incoming projectile and to deflect it upwards.
